Yes, Thursday, and it's time for Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop. Check out the prompts and join in!
Today, I chose No. 5 - Write a poem to your love for Valentine's Day!
I wrote it in German, hope that counts as well...

Of course it counts, but it would be nice to have an English translation here as well for those of us who forgot most of the German we learned like me.

I'm gonna have to have BFF translate for me. Being half German comes in handy sometimes!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Mama Kats...
ReplyDeleteUmmmm...guten tag! That is pretty much the extent of my German ... but I'm sure the poem was lovely!
I can't read German, but I am sure your valentine poem is just lovely : ). Very nice! I love your blog button. It is so cute!
ReplyDeleteDon't know an ounce of German, but it sounded good...the words rhyme, I bet it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your lovely comments :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I would translate this into English the words wouldn't rhyme anymore and I think the expression wouldn't be the same - sorry! Hope you'll understand...
Ooooh, have you been to Germama's site?

I love her - there's not that much German on it but she's great - check it out!
That's beautiful! I'm also glad to get the brush up on my rarely used German. I took an entire class on German poetry and wish I could use it more often!
