How To Become A Millionaire

So, here I am again. I had a nice weekend and a wonderful Mother's Day - although it rained but we made the best out of it. I did enjoy it very much! Hope you did so as well :-)

Yesterday, we went shopping coz I needed some new shirts. (Never ever go shopping with a 18 months old toddler, this is no fun at all!)
And on our way home there was a great story on the radio. The story was about a woman who got a millionaire - nothing special you might think. But you don't know HOW she got a millionaire... Wanna know?
OK: she embezzled money. Yes. She worked as a self-employed book-keeper at a family business and transfered (*) company money (all in all it was about 1.2 million Euros) on an account of her own to support her family.

Isn't this weird? And clever. She did this for about 15 years - and they just found out now. Really, I like this story. It's perkily and clever but she should have stopped doing this a while ago. Now she probably needs to go to prison just because she couldn't get enough...

But anyway, she's really clever - and I don't want to know how many book-keepers are doing the same thing without getting trapped... And I'm really sorry for the company!

Avocation Needed

This week, it's sunny and very warm and so I'll be outside as often as possible - the cause of my lack of blogging...

So, well, I think I need your help!
As you all know we're planning to get pregnant again this year. I learned that if you're concentrating too much on getting pregnant it won't work out. So if there's some serious avocation you're getting crowned with success faster.
The first pregancy happened while planning the wedding (so we needed to postpone it). I was so into wedding planning that it worked like a charm.

Now, I need some other avocation. Sure, D is avocation but I need something non-kid related if possible.
Here are some suggestion I already made to myself:
- taking a sewing course (I cannot sew and I always want to learn it for real)
- building the perfect farm on Farmville (which will be just a short project)
- knitting some kid's clothes or a scarf (and learning how-to)

So, what else? Are there any suggestion from your side? Please, let me know!

Well, I'm bored

A bit.
Sometimes I just sit around and don't know what to do with myself or my son.
It's weird. I know.

Sure, there's some household to do, washing, ironing, tidying up, whatever. But yes, some days I don't feel like doing the chores. Of course, I tidy up my kitchen and cook but that's it.
So I just sit around and watch TV shows and yes, I'm bored.

Well, yes, my son (nearly 1 year old) wants to be entertained. He loves to crawl around and play with my Tupperware and his dad's Pepsi bottles. I need to watch him that he doesn't ruin anything or put his fingers in an outlet (even if there a kid's security in it, he shouldn't do it!). You all know that this could be quite stressful to run after the kids. You can do nothing next to it because he's always around and you need to be careful to not hurt the kid while running through your home.

But you cannot do this for about 10 hours. I go out for a walk with him. Play with him. But I do not feel like I'm used to capacity. Yes, I am a stay-at-home mommy (SAHM) and I used to enjoy it quite much but sometimes it's not enough.
As Christmas is coming soon there are some DIY projects to be done but nothing that could be done next to looking after my son.

Any tips? How do you feel as a SAHM? What do you do with your kids this age?

I would be so thankful to have my own button, too :-)
